Can AI agents automate Zoom Workplace?

Zoom Workplace is automatable today through a documented REST API and vendor-hosted MCP servers. The Zoom API at api.zoom.us/v2 reads and writes Meetings, Team Chat, Calendar, Canvas, and Whiteboard resources. Apps authenticate with OAuth 2.0 authorization-code tokens or Server-to-Server OAuth account-credentials tokens; both expire after one hour. Event Subscriptions deliver signed HTTP JSON webhooks for Workplace activity, and a WebSocket path is in public beta. Official Rivet supplies a JavaScript API and webhook library for Meetings, Chat, users, and accounts. Zoom hosts MCP servers on mcp.zoom.us over Streamable HTTP: a unified Workplace server plus dedicated Meetings, Chat, Canvas, Tasks, and Whiteboard servers. MCP clients must create a Marketplace General App and complete manual OAuth registration; Dynamic Client Registration is not supported. The unified server searches meetings, chat, and Canvas, lists recordings, and writes Canvas or Hub files from Markdown, but it does not expose deterministic meeting create, update, or delete tools. Those remain on REST. Semantic meeting search and recording-content tools also depend on AI Companion account features such as Smart Recording and Meeting Summary. Zapier, Make, and n8n publish Zoom meeting connectors. Power Automate currently lists an Independent Publisher preview Zoom Meetings connector; the first-party Microsoft connector URL /connectors/zoom/ returned 404 on this pass. No official general-purpose Zoom Workplace CLI was established. Computer-use viability is unassessed. Zoom Phone, Zoom Contact Center, and Zoom Revenue Accelerator are outside this product boundary.
