Cal.com is automatable today through REST API v2. This record is the Cal.com scheduling platform (event types, bookings, schedules, availability, conferencing apps, routing forms, and organization memberships), including the first-party hosted MCP at https://mcp.cal.com/mcp and the local @calcom/cal-mcp package. It is not Calendly, Chili Piper, Google Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook. Callers send Authorization Bearer with an API key (test keys use the cal_ prefix; live keys use cal_live_) created under Settings > Security, or use OAuth 2.0 with reviewed clients and scopes such as BOOKING_READ and BOOKING_WRITE. Some booking and slot endpoints are public. API v1 was shut down on 2026-04-08. Teams and Organizations customers see different endpoint prefixes; the Platform plan is deprecated for new signups. API-key rate limit is 120 requests per minute. The hosted MCP uses Streamable HTTP and OAuth 2.1 and exposes 34 tools for profile, event types, bookings, schedules, availability, conferencing, routing forms, and organizations. Local stdio uses npx @calcom/cal-mcp@latest with CAL_API_KEY. Webhooks fire on booking create, update, and cancel. Vendor pricing names Zapier and Make and lists iOS, Android, and desktop downloads. Computer-use viability is unassessed. API and MCP each score 8. API is the best path because a Settings API key works without an OAuth-capable MCP client.
