Can AI agents automate CATIA?

CATIA is automatable through Dassault Systèmes CAA and Automation surfaces, but the current object-model reference is not publicly readable. The vendor's developer-guides page presents the CAA Encyclopedia for V5 and V6 toolkits, with how-tos, samples, and reference information for interfaces, classes, and methods. A 3DEXPERIENCE R2026x on-premises developer documentation portal exists and, when opened on 2026-09-02, required sign-in before any API pages were shown. Official Licensed Program Specifications for CATIA V5 and CAA RADE V5 still declare built-in macro record and replay, VB Script, Visual Basic for Applications installed by default on Windows, OLE container automation, and CAA C++, Java, and Automation programming guides. CAA RADE is a separately licensed toolkit, and runtime custom applications follow CATIA product licensing. Windows 11 64-bit workstations are currently certified for V5-6R2026 and 3DEXPERIENCE R2026x. No first-party MCP, named low-code connector, CLI, public file-format API table, or computer-use result was established. This record is CATIA on the 3DEXPERIENCE portfolio and the still-documented V5 Automation/CAA surfaces. It is not SOLIDWORKS.
