Can AI agents automate Altium Designer?

Altium Designer is automatable today through the Altium 365 Workspace GraphQL API and a licensed in-process Designer SDK. The GraphQL API reads and writes workspace data across design projects, libraries, procurement and BOMs, platform users and lifecycles, comments, and workflows. Requests use a bearer access token created by a workspace admin or exchanged from a refresh token, client ID, and client secret. Regional and workspace endpoints are documented, and a browser GraphQL IDE is available on each workspace. The Designer SDK is a managed .NET API for extensions that add commands and access schematic, PCB, and project data inside a licensed Windows installation. SDK access requires enrolment on Altium Developer Center. Scripting is documented as a first-party automation path, but those pages are mid-migration. The desktop product is validated only on Windows 10 and 11. No first-party MCP, named low-code connector, CLI, or computer-use result was established.
