The best evidenced agent path into Commvault Cloud is the Command Center REST API, not Veeam Data Platform and not a first-party MCP server. Commvault documents REST operations that represent CommCell Console work over HTTP with JSON or XML bodies. External callers route through https://<Command Center host>/commandcenter/api. Direct Web Server paths remain available as /SearchSvc/CVWebService.svc/. Starting in Platform Release 2024E, webconsole/api calls are redirected to commandcenter/api and some XML or form-encoded endpoints must use the Web Server endpoint. Authentication is token-based. POST /Login with a Base64 UTF-8 password returns a token that later requests send in the Authtoken header; the token expires after 30 minutes of inactivity by default. Access tokens created in Command Center are an alternative Bearer header path, with scoped tokens and refresh rules. Coverage is the documented CommCell resource set (clients, agents, users, workflows, libraries), not every Command Center screen. Official qcurl runs GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE against those URLs after qlogin. Named Zapier, Make, Power Automate, and n8n connectors were not present in the catalogs checked.
