STAAD.Pro is automatable today through the OpenSTAAD COM API on a licensed Windows 11 install, and through Bentley's first-party OpenSTAAD MCP server. OpenSTAAD exposes STAAD.Pro internals and GUI commands to Excel, VBA, Python, C#, C++, and other COM clients. It requires STAAD.Pro installed on the same machine and does not support .NET Core.
