Can AI agents automate Unit4 ERP (Agresso)?

Unit4 · hybrid · erppublic-sectorenterprise

Unit4 ERP exposes useful but edition-dependent automation across the current ERPx product and the ERP7 or ERP CR lineage often still called Agresso. ERPx publishes REST APIs for common business operations. ERP7 retains a smaller REST surface plus SOAP web services, including an Objects API and configurable reports for broader reads. Swagger is the tenant-local API directory, access is granted per user or service account, and supported calls use basic or bearer authentication as applicable. Unit4 documents a limit of 300 API calls per minute, while actual objects and operations vary by edition and release. The cloud Extension Kit adds low-code flows, scheduled and webhook triggers, ERP Message Hub events, Enterprise Documents, HTTP and REST actions, transformations, reusable parameters, SFTP, and event-based orchestration. App Studio adds upgrade-isolated custom ERP screens and applications. Extension Kit availability and connectivity depend on the cloud package, Unit4 Identity Services, published application events and endpoints, and environment-specific service activation. This is a strong first-party integration route, but it is not proof that every ERP transaction is covered. No official client SDK, general business CLI, product-specific first-party MCP, repeatable RPA result, or computer-use result was established.

No repeatable UI probe was run. Unit4's supported REST and SOAP APIs, Enterprise Documents, ERP events, Extension Kit flows, webhooks, REST actions, and App Studio provide governed alternatives to driving the desktop, browser, or mobile clients.
