Can AI agents automate Opik?

Opik is automatable today through its REST API and a first-party MCP server. This record is Comet's Opik LLM observability product, including Opik Cloud and self-hosted Opik. It is not Langfuse or LangSmith, and it is not the registry listing com.skopik/mcp. The REST overview shows GET http://localhost:5173/api/v1/private/projects for open-source Opik with no key in the example. Opik Cloud uses GET https://www.comet.com/opik/api/v1/private/projects with Comet-Workspace and an authorization header set to the API key. The page says that header value does not include a Bearer prefix. Comet documents an official MCP server. Opik Cloud uses https://www.comet.com/opik/api/v1/mcp with browser sign-in. A self-hosted deployment uses the local opik-mcp package. A language SDK, a CLI, webhooks, and connector catalogs were not opened. Computer-use viability is unassessed. The REST API and the MCP server both score 7. The API is the best path because a script can call it without a browser sign-in. Cloud MCP OAuth is the path when an assistant should use the signed-in workspace.
