Dynatrace is automatable today through its public REST APIs. Environment API, Configuration API, Account Management API, and platform services on *.apps.dynatrace.com/platform/ cover problems, metrics, logs, settings, and AppEngine resources. Authentication is API tokens in an Api-Token header, OAuth 2.0 clients against Dynatrace SSO, and platform tokens (dt0s16) as long-lived Bearers for platform services. An official TypeScript SDK wraps platform and classic Environment v2 clients. A first-party remote MCP server is documented at https://{environment}.apps.dynatrace.com/platform-reserved/mcp-gateway/v0.1/servers/dynatrace-mcp/mcp and listed as generally available on Dynatrace Hub. Tools cover DQL generation and execution, problems, vulnerabilities, Kubernetes events, timeseries, and document search. Requests need a Bearer platform token or confidential OAuth client. Dynamic client registration and public OAuth clients are not supported. The dynatrace-oss local server is an unsupported OSS companion, not this record's official path. Microsoft Power Automate publishes a Dynatrace-authored Premium connector. n8n's Dynatrace listing is generic HTTP, not a dedicated node. Official CLI is Monaco for configuration as code.
