Can AI agents automate Wix?

Wix is automatable today through the official hosted MCP at https://mcp.wix.com/mcp and the same REST and JavaScript SDK surface. This record is the Wix site platform, including eCommerce, CMS, bookings, blog, and account-level site management. It is not Webflow, WordPress, or Shopify. MCP tools split into two families. Documentation tools search REST, SDK, Build Apps, Headless, and Wix Design System docs, fetch full articles, and return API method schemas. Site-mutating tools are ListWixSites, CallWixSiteAPI, and ManageWixSite, which query sites, run REST calls on a selected site, and create, update, or publish sites. Sample prompts show store discounts, CMS collections, bookings, inbox email, and blog publish going through those site tools. Auth on MCP is OAuth in the client, or an API key plus wix-account-id headers. The REST API at https://www.wixapis.com uses OAuth 2.0 (visitor anonymous grant, member authorization_code, app client_credentials) and long-lived API keys for site- or account-level admin calls. App access tokens last 4 hours. The official JavaScript SDK is @wix/sdk with OAuthStrategy, AppStrategy, and ApiKeyStrategy. A GraphQL API covers a subset of the same data. Signed JWT webhooks POST site and app events. The Wix CLI (@wix/cli) creates, previews, and deploys apps and Wix-managed headless projects; it is not a general site-ops CLI. iPaaS connector catalogs were not opened. Computer-use viability is unassessed. MCP and API both score 8. MCP is the best path for agents because it is the vendor-hosted tool surface over docs search and site APIs. REST plus webhooks remain the production integration path when you need event delivery or a language other than JavaScript.
