Can AI agents automate Telnyx?

Telnyx is automatable today through its v2 REST APIs. This record is Telnyx communications APIs (messaging, voice, numbers, and AI assistants) as exposed at https://api.telnyx.com/v2 and by the canonical remote MCP at https://api.telnyx.com/v2/mcp. Sibling experimental MCP Apps under /v2/mcp/apps/{slug}/mcp stay in this identity. It is not Twilio. The developers.telnyx.com docs/search MCP is out of boundary. The archived team-telnyx/telnyx-mcp-server repository is not the current product. REST calls use Authorization: Bearer and JSON against https://api.telnyx.com/v2. Official server-side SDKs cover TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Go, Java, Ruby, and PHP. The official telnyx CLI authenticates with TELNYX_API_KEY, claims full API coverage, and supports json, jsonl, yaml, and related output formats. The hosted MCP uses streamable HTTP and the same Bearer key. Documented tools are list_api_endpoints, get_api_endpoint_schema, and invoke_api_endpoint. invoke_api_endpoint is destructive-capable. Experimental MCP Apps include number-intelligence, usage-cost-explorer, and voice-monitor. Cloud Storage, WebRTC, and some WebSocket products use other auth than REST Bearer. Product webhooks are signed with Ed25519 where documented. iPaaS catalogs were not opened. Computer-use viability is unassessed. API, MCP, and CLI each score 8. API is the best path because it is the documented production execute surface with official SDKs; MCP is a three-tool invoke layer over that same API.
