Rippling is automatable today through REST Platform API v2 at https://rest.ripplingapis.com. Customer and internal integrations authenticate with a Bearer API token from Tools > Developer > API Tokens. Access is the intersection of the owner's permission profile and selected scopes. Tokens are revoked if the owner is terminated or unused for 30 days. App Shop partners use OAuth 2.0 against https://api.rippling.com/api/o/token/. Documented HRIS resources include workers, users, compensations, entitlements, and draft hires. Developer APIs cover functions and workflows. A first-party Rippling MCP is enabled by default but returns no data without an active Rippling AI trial or subscription, and employees cannot connect until an admin assigns tools in MCP Gateway. The remote URL is copied from the tenant My IT UI and was not printed as a public hostname on opened pages. SSNs, home addresses, personal emails, and tax IDs are not exposed.
