Can AI agents automate Render?

Render is automatable today through a public REST API and an official CLI. The REST API at https://api.render.com/v1 authenticates with an API key as Authorization Bearer. Render says it supports almost all Dashboard functionality for services, datastores, deploys, env groups, Blueprints, logs, and metrics. An OpenAPI 3.0 spec is published. Official language SDK coverage was not established from the opened API pages. The official CLI (`render`) authenticates with render login or RENDER_API_KEY and supports JSON, YAML, or text output. First-party hosted MCP is at https://mcp.render.com/mcp with OAuth or API-key Bearer auth. It can create web services, static sites, cron jobs, Render Postgres, and Key Value, trigger deploys, read logs, and run read-only SQL. It cannot create every service type, change scaling, or perform most other updates. Outbound webhooks require a Pro plan or higher. This record excludes Vercel, Netlify, Heroku, and DigitalOcean. Connector catalogs were not opened. Computer-use viability is unassessed. API and CLI both score 8; API is the best path because it is the portable documented contract.
