Can AI agents automate FEST?

FEST is automatable as Direktoratet for medisinske produkters Forskrivnings- og ekspedisjonsstøtte medicine-data register, not as e-resept/Reseptformidleren, NHN SFM, or Nationella läkemedelslistan. The best path is the published M30 download. DMP updates the XML dataset twice a month and tells system providers they must always use the latest version, recommending a nightly automatic check. SOAP GetM30 is a synchronous WCF service (SOAP 1.1 and 1.2, UTF-8, WS-Addressing) on Norsk Helsenett at https://frontend-fest.nhn.no/Fest/FestService251.svc and on the internet at https://fest.legemiddelverket.no/Fest/FestService251.svc. Filters include Rekvirent, Institusjon, Veterinær, and Bandasjist. SistOppdatert incremental extracts work only for Rekvirent and Institusjon. Zip extracts for those filters are also published on the internet. Transport is HTTPS. Opened interface documentation does not publish an application API key or OAuth scheme for the public extracts. Farmalogg and NAV/HELFO extracts stopped open internet download on 2023-08-30 and need a DMP-verified certificate because they contain confidential H-resept refund prices. From 2022-08-15 DMP also publishes a FHIR-service in a FHIR interface in parallel; the opened pages do not publish that FHIR contract in the same detail as GetM30. First-party MCP ownership is not established. Official SDKs and a product CLI were not established. Computer-use viability is unassessed. API scores 6 because the SOAP and zip extracts are a useful national production feed with a twice-monthly cadence and certificate gates on some filters.
