Can AI agents automate Maconomy (Deltek)?
Deltek · hybrid · erpprofessional-services
Maconomy provides a supported, metadata-driven REST integration surface for its professional-services ERP, distinct from other Deltek products. The same RESTful web services back the current Maconomy web client. Container endpoints return specifications for fields, actions, foreign keys and enabled operations together with filter, card and table data; supported clients can query, create, update and invoke business actions according to each user's access. Filedrop uploads attachments, configuration endpoints supply versioned application and workspace JSON, authentication endpoints issue reconnect state, and environment endpoints return company and employee context. Current authentication initializes a session at the authentication root and then uses X-Reconnect or X-Cookie; Enterprise Cloud can also apply OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect and JWT bearer SSO across UI and REST interfaces. Deltek calls REST the preferred cloud integration path and additionally supports SOAP, standard import programs, Business Objects queries as a web service, optional read-only ODBC and reviewed file, SFTP or customer-owned S3 exchanges. Cloud editions require API connection details through support, can remove search-dialog access unless explicitly restored, prohibit direct database writes, and require design approval for unlisted integration methods. Version, cloud tier, exposed containers, CRUD permissions and customer configuration therefore determine real coverage. No official general SDK, product-specific first-party MCP, general CLI, verified named low-code connector, repeatable RPA result, or computer-use result was established.
