Brevo API, MCP, and CLI for agents
Brevo is automatable today through the REST API at https://api.brevo.com/v3 and a Brevo-hosted MCP server. API-key calls send the key in the api-key header. OAuth 2.0 uses authorization code against oauth.brevo.com, with access tokens that last one hour, and those OAuth apps are private to the customer's own Brevo organisation. Official SDKs are published for Node.js, Python, and PHP. Webhooks are created with POST /v3/webhooks for transactional, marketing, and inbound email and SMS events. The hosted MCP server is https://mcp.brevo.com/v1/brevo/mcp, described as 27 modules, with narrower endpoints for contacts, campaigns, analytics, templates, CRM, SMS, WhatsApp, and webhooks. MCP auth is a separate token generated with the MCP option on the API-key screen and sent as Authorization Bearer. The Brevo CLI (@getbrevo/cli) creates OAuth apps, scaffolds code, and runs a local test server; it is not the campaign control plane. Zapier, Make, Power Automate, and n8n listings were not opened. Computer-use viability is unassessed. API and MCP both score 8. API is the best path because a normal API key, the SDKs, and webhooks support unattended work without an MCP client.
