"summary": "Qlik Sense has broad automation in Qlik Cloud and substantial support for client-managed deployments. Qlik Cloud REST APIs configure and observe tenants, organizations, users, spaces, apps, reloads, data files, automations, data products, alerts, reports, audits, and other resources. The stateful QIX JSON-RPC API works directly with Sense apps and the Associative Engine for data, selections, calculations, scripts, objects, and reloads. OAuth 2.0 is the recommended Cloud path; API keys act with the creating user's permissions, and unattended OAuth clients can carry broad administrative authority, so credential scope is load-bearing. Qlik's official JavaScript and TypeScript package wraps REST and QIX with typed calls. The cross-platform qlik-cli exposes public APIs as JSON and can import, export, publish, build, analyze, edit, and administer apps, spaces, Cloud tenants, and client-managed sites. Qlik Automate and signed webhooks provide native event-driven orchestration, although event payloads are migrating to CloudEvents and Cloud and client-managed capabilities are not identical. Qlik also operates a first-party MCP server for Qlik Cloud. Its permission-aware catalog can discover apps and datasets, query charts, apply selections, create sheets and charts, and manage glossaries and data products. It requires tenant activation, an allowed user role, per-client OAuth registration, feature licenses, and subscription question capacity. Section Access remains enforced, but returned data crosses into the chosen LLM provider's trust boundary. Repeatable computer-use viability was not established.\n"
